PINEAPPLE ORANGE JUICE RECIPE
Required Kitchen Equipment
2 Cups of Chopped Fresh Pineapple
Step 1: Carefully set up your juicer machine. When conducting the assembly process make sure that the appliance is unplugged. You will need to use a juice collection vessel that can accommodate 8 to 12 fluid ounces, which is one single serving. If your juicer has been stored away for a long period of time then you will want to wipe down each part with a slightly damp towel or cleaning cloth. Dust on the inside of your juicer will totally ruin the beverage's fresh flavor.
Step 2: Thoroughly clean your produce under cool running water. As a strictly optional cleaning method, spray each piece of produce with an organic fruit and vegetable spray before rinsing. The produce spray will safely remove any water resistant residue. Never clean your produce with any type of soap.
Step 3: Peel your oranges and then break the fruit into pieces that can comfortably fit into your juicer's feeder tube. Next remove the thick outer skin from your fresh pineapple, then chop the pineapple into small to medium size chunks. Do not juice the orange peel or pineapple skin, as both contain extremely bitter properties that will destroy the sweet and delicious flavor of your juice.
Step 4: Turn on your juicer and begin processing your fresh fruit. Try not to press down too hard on the produce pusher, as it will stress the appliance's engine. Your goal should be a finished liquid yield of between 8 to 12 ounces, so juice more or less fruit than the called for amount if you need to.
Step 5: Once you are finished juicing, stir the beverage with a spoon to create a consistent flavor. Remove and discard any foam that may have collected on the top of the liquid. Your juice can be served as is or with ice.
Storage: This juice will keep for 24 to 48 hours. Store it in the refrigerator within a sealable airtight juice jug.
Health Benefits: This juice blend contains tons of vitamin C, which as we all know can dramatically reduce your chances of getting heart disease and cancer. The pineapple juice also contains a proteolytic enzyme called Bromelain. This healthy enzyme has been proven to reduce tissue inflammation and prevent certain types of cancer from forming.
